- 1 lb Wagyu ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
- 4 brioche buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese or preferred cheese
- Lettuce tomato, red onion, pickles (optional)
- Ketchup mayo, and mustard (for toppings)
Mix the Wagyu beef with chopped onion, garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Divide into 4 patties.
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side.
Toast the buns in a skillet or on the grill until golden brown.
In the last minute of cooking, add cheese on top of the patties to melt.
Assemble the burger: spread condiments on the buns, then add the patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
Serve immediately with fries or your favorite side.
