- 1/2 cup 113g unsalted butter
- 1 cup 200g brown sugar
- 1/2 cup 100g white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup 95g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup 50g cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup 170g chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth. Stir in brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt to create brownie batter.
For the cookie dough, cream butter and sugars together until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips.
Spread brownie batter evenly in the pan. Drop cookie dough by spoonfuls on top. Gently swirl if desired.
Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing.
