- 1 lb 450g ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk or plant-based milk
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce halal if needed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
Form the mixture into 5–6 patties, about 1 inch thick.
Place patties on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
Optional: Glaze with extra ketchup or BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes.
Let rest a few minutes before serving.
Use turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
Add a splash of milk if the mix feels dry.
Great for sandwiches, meal prep, or serving with gravy and mashed potatoes.
