Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce halal if needed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into 5–6 patties, about 1 inch thick.
  • Place patties on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Optional: Glaze with extra ketchup or BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes.
  • Let rest a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
Add a splash of milk if the mix feels dry.
Great for sandwiches, meal prep, or serving with gravy and mashed potatoes.
