Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g halal chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice uncooked
  • 1 cup halal chicken broth
  • 1 cup halal or homemade cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup halal or homemade cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet halal onion soup mix or homemade
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or halal butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix rice, both soups, and chicken broth until smooth.
  • Pour mixture into the baking dish and place chicken on top.
  • Drizzle olive oil or butter over chicken. Season with soup mix, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove foil and bake for 20–25 more minutes, until chicken is fully cooked and rice is tender.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
