Description
This rich, gooey S’mores Cake Recipe combines layers of chocolate cake, buttery graham cracker crust, and golden marshmallow topping for the ultimate nostalgic dessert — no campfire needed.
Ingredients
Graham Crust

1½ cups crushed graham crackers (about 12 full sheets)

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tbsp brown sugar (optional for extra caramel flavor)
Chocolate Cake Layer

1 box chocolate cake mix (or use your favorite homemade recipe)

Ingredients listed on box (usually eggs, oil, and water)
Marshmallow Topping

1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow fluff
OR -
3 cups mini marshmallows
Optional Ganache

¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup heavy cream
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease or line two 8-inch round cake pans. -
Make the graham crust.
In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers, butter, and brown sugar. Press into the bottom of each cake pan. Bake for 5 minutes, then let cool slightly. -
Prepare and bake the cake.
Mix chocolate cake batter according to package instructions. Pour evenly over the graham crust in each pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. -
Add the marshmallow topping.
Spread marshmallow fluff on top of the cooled cake layers. OR arrange mini marshmallows in a single layer. -
Toast it!
Use a kitchen torch to lightly brown the topping. No torch? Place under a broiler for 30 seconds, watching closely! -
Optional ganache drizzle.
Warm the cream, pour over chocolate chips, and stir until smooth. Drizzle over the frosted cake for extra richness. -
Assemble & Serve.
Stack the layers or serve as single-layer cakes. Add extra crushed graham, chocolate shavings, or berries if you’d like!
